Sunday Oct 19, 2025
Sunday Oct 19, 2025
In week 2 of Anchored: A Journey Through Romans 8, Pastor Scott Worthington preached from Romans 8:12–17.
Paul makes it clear in this passage — we’re all on one of two roads: one ruled by the flesh or one led by the Spirit. As followers of Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives in us and leads us. But what does it mean to walk by the Spirit?
In this message, we learned two key truths:
1️⃣ Fight sin to the death.
2️⃣ Embrace your identity and live free.
As Spirit-led people, we’re called to put sin to death daily and live in the freedom we have in Christ.
Watch this sermon to learn how to fight sin and walk in your identity in Christ!

Anchored Week 1: No Condemnation
Sunday Oct 12, 2025
Sunday Oct 12, 2025
In week 1 of Anchored: A Journey Through Romans 8, Pastor Scott Worthington preached from Romans 8:1–11.
As followers of Jesus, we’ve been freed by God from the penalty of sin! But that doesn’t mean we won’t still struggle with it.
In the struggle against sin, we can easily get discouraged and feel condemned. But, the Bible says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! We can get back up when we fall because God is continuing to free us from the power of sin—and when He returns, He will free us from the presence of sin.
If you’ve been feeling defeated or discouraged in your struggle against sin, this sermon is for you.

teaches from 1 John 4:10,19.

each other biblically. Parents are to love their children as God loves them—sacrificially and unconditionally.
Children are to love their parents by honoring, obeying, and listening to their wisdom.
As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart
from it.” How does God call parents to raise their children? Check out this sermon to find out!
