In our Anchored series, we're journeying through Isaiah 55. In this sermon, Pastor Scott preaches from Isaiah 55:1-3, where God invites everyone who thirsts to come and be satisfied in Him.
Together, we explore why the things of this world can never truly fulfill our deepest needs, how true satisfaction can only be found in Jesus, and what it looks like to pursue lasting satisfaction through a relationship with Him.

Acts | Confronting the Christlike
Sunday Jun 28, 2026
Sunday Jun 28, 2026
In this sermon, Pastor Scott preaches from Acts 6:8–15.
What is the goal of the Christian life? It is a relationship with God where He changes me, little by little, to look more like Jesus. From this passage, we learn from Stephen’s life, a follower of Jesus who faced persecution, that as we as we abide in Christ, we become more like Jesus, and the more we become like Jesus, the more opposition we will face. However, as followers of Jesus, we can remain confident in the face of opposition.
How can we do that? Check out this sermon to learn more

Acts | 99 Problems but a Plan Ain’t One
Sunday Jun 21, 2026
Sunday Jun 21, 2026
In this sermon, Pastor Scott preached from Acts 6:1-7.
As we study this passage, we see that problems are inevitable as the church grows. Pastor Scott shows how relevant this truth is not only for our church, but also for our personal lives. One principle we learn is that failure isn’t always the result of sin. Sometimes, failure is simply the result of human limitation.
Watch the full sermon to learn about the challenges that can arise in the church and how we can continue to remain a healthy church.

Acts | A Movement That Cannot Be Stopped
Monday Jun 15, 2026
Monday Jun 15, 2026
In this sermon, Pastor Scott preached from Acts 5:27-42.
As the disciples continued proclaiming the good news, they faced increasing persecution. Yet rather than obeying the demands of others to stop, they chose to obey God and remained faithful to their mission. In the same way, followers of Jesus today may face opposition when sharing their faith in places where Christ is resisted. The question we must wrestle with is this: What will we do when speaking about Jesus comes at a cost?

Acts | When the Door Opens
Sunday Jun 07, 2026
Sunday Jun 07, 2026
In this sermon, Pastor Jordan preached from Acts 5:17-26.
As the apostles faced opposition, imprisonment, and pressure to stop preaching the Gospel, God miraculously opened the prison doors and sent them right back to continue the mission. What opposition in your life has started to feel bigger or more permanent than God? Through this passage, we’re reminded that opposition never has the final word because God is always more powerful and more permanent than what stands against Him.

Acts | The Church God Uses
Sunday May 31, 2026
Sunday May 31, 2026
In this sermon, Pastor Tom McCormick preached from Acts 5:12–16.
In this passage, we see God moving powerfully through the early. Miracles were taking place, unity was evident, the church was highly respected by the culture, more people than ever were being saved, and many were being healed. Together, we reflect on whether God is moving with that same power in Hope Church today, and whether we truly desire to be a church like the early church.
Could it be that the reason we do not see more of God’s power is not because His power has changed, but because we cause Him to withhold it? And what would cause God not to withhold His power? That is the question we explore in this sermon.

Acts | Dangers in the Church
Sunday May 24, 2026
Sunday May 24, 2026
In this message, Pastor Scott preached from Acts 5:1-11.
We wrestled with one of the hardest passages in the book of Acts as we looked at the story of Ananias and Sapphira. From this passage, we learned that the greatest hindrance to the advancement of the gospel is not sin outside the church, but sin inside the church.
As followers of Jesus, do we understand the seriousness of our sin? Do we have a holy fear of God, knowing that He is not only loving, but also holy? Whatever sin God may be revealing in our lives, let us repent and, by His grace, take our sin seriously by fighting against it. Check out this sermon to learn more.

Acts | Community On Mission
Sunday May 17, 2026
Sunday May 17, 2026
In this sermon, we were honored to hear from Pastor Gene Staples, our Groups Pastor, as he preached from Acts 4:32-37.
n this passage, we see how the early church lived in community. They lived generously by sharing their resources with one another, proclaimed the gospel to those who did not know Jesus, and met the needs of others. In the same way, we as a church are called to live generously in community.
What does this look like, and what is your next step toward living generously in community? Check out this sermon to learn more!

Acts | With Him
Sunday May 03, 2026
Sunday May 03, 2026
In his last sermon at Hope, Pastor Trenton preached from Acts 4:13-22.
When it comes to sharing the gospel, many of us feel like we don't have what it takes, and our response to that is avoiding what we're called to do. From the passage, we learn that the disciples felt the same way and what caused them to have the boldness to preach the gospel.
If you're feeling like you don't got what it takes to share the gospel with those around you, this message is for you!
