As we kick off our series, Good News for Everyone, Pastor Scott preaches from 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
Though our key verses are 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, we also walk through the Romans Road, a path Christians have used for many years to communicate the gospel. As we walk down this road, we’ll clearly see what the gospel is and why it really is good news for everyone.
If you’ve been wondering what the gospel is and what it means for you today, or if you’re struggling with shame or guilt over your sin, this message is for you!

In this sermon, Pastor Scott Worthington preached from Acts 7:54–60, the story of Stephen’s martyrdom.
There is a version of Christianity being sold that says following Jesus means everything will go well for you. But the truth is this: Follow Jesus, and you get Jesus, come what may.
Stephen was a faithful follower of Jesus who was martyred for speaking the truth of God’s Word. His story reminds us that we too will face hardship as we follow Jesus. But in whatever we’re facing, we can take comfort in knowing that we are not alone. God is with us.

Pastor Jeff Phillips, our Congregation Pastor of Henderson, joins us this weekend as he preaches from Acts 7:1-53.
From the beginning, God has been making Himself known to the world so that we can know Him, His love, plans, and desires for us. Through this passage, we find some of the ways God demonstrates His love and are challenged to examine how we respond to His love. Will we turn a blind eye, or will we receive His love?

In the final week of our series, Anchored: A Journey Through Isaiah 55, Pastor Patrick teaches from Isaiah 55:12–13.
To a weary and discouraged nation living in exile, God promised the Israelites that He could take what had been ruined and create something with purpose again. He promised they would go out with joy and be led forth in peace. That same promise of restoration, joy, and peace is still extended to us through Jesus today.

In this sermon, Pastor Jordan Caro preaches from Isaiah 55:6-11.
God extends an invitation to the Israelites living in disobedience to return to Him, showing them that He is a God who abundantly pardons. That same invitation is extended to us today: no matter how far we've wandered or how often we've fallen short, God calls us to come back because His compassion and forgiveness are abundant.

In this sermon, Pastor Scott preaches from Acts 6:8–15.
What is the goal of the Christian life? It is a relationship with God where He changes me, little by little, to look more like Jesus. From this passage, we learn from Stephen’s life, a follower of Jesus who faced persecution, that as we as we abide in Christ, we become more like Jesus, and the more we become like Jesus, the more opposition we will face. However, as followers of Jesus, we can remain confident in the face of opposition.
How can we do that? Check out this sermon to learn more

In this sermon, Pastor Scott preached from Acts 6:1-7.
As we study this passage, we see that problems are inevitable as the church grows. Pastor Scott shows how relevant this truth is not only for our church, but also for our personal lives. One principle we learn is that failure isn’t always the result of sin. Sometimes, failure is simply the result of human limitation.
Watch the full sermon to learn about the challenges that can arise in the church and how we can continue to remain a healthy church.

In this sermon, Pastor Scott preached from Acts 5:27-42.
As the disciples continued proclaiming the good news, they faced increasing persecution. Yet rather than obeying the demands of others to stop, they chose to obey God and remained faithful to their mission. In the same way, followers of Jesus today may face opposition when sharing their faith in places where Christ is resisted. The question we must wrestle with is this: What will we do when speaking about Jesus comes at a cost?
