God commands us to love our neighbor as ourselves. From this story, we learned that before we can love our neighbor like the Good Samaritan did, we must first see that Jesus is the true Good Samaritan—and we are the wounded man who was cared for.
We also discovered who our neighbor truly is and how we can love them.
